The Office of Veterans Affairs

Veterans of the military and their eligible dependents can count on CSU's Office of Veterans Affairs for accurate, current information needed to receive education benefits through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, better known as the VA.

The office also helps those veterans and dependents apply for these benefits and updates enrollment hours and attendance as required by the regional VA processing office.

Columbus State hosts one of Georgia's largest veteran student populations. Using the latest technology available, this office strives to serve each student in the most efficient way possible by completing and forwarding all certifications for payment of benefits electronically to the regional processing center in Atlanta.

The Office of Veterans Affairs is also honored to serve active duty personnel using the "GI Bill," members of the Active Reserve and-or National Guard, disabled veterans retraining through Veterans Affairs Vocational Rehabilitation and the dependents of veterans who are permanently and totally disabled or who have died.

We hope that your experience at CSU is a great one! We are committed to serve you in a professional, timely manner. Contact us if you have any questions about your veteran's benefits or if we can assist you in any manner.
